The Providence Group has filed two Rezoning Cases with the City to rezone properties on State Bridge Road to build 208 Town Homes. The final decision on these Rezoning Cases will be made by the Mayor and City Council at this Monday, November 26, 2018, City Council Meeting.

The Cases are listed under the “Wednesday, November 7, 2018” Hearing Date, and are named “RZ-18-006 & RZ-18-007.”
The Community has planned opposition argument presentations for both Rezoning Cases which we will present to the Mayor and City Council. We are planning to present these arguments first, at the beginning of the opposition section of the City Council Public Hearings on the Rezoning Cases.
It is critical we have a strong representation from the Neighborhoods at Monday’s City Council Meeting. The Mayor and City Council make the final decision about the Town Home Developments. A packed City Council Chamber will show the Mayor and City Council that we are opposed to these Town Home Rezoning Cases. Remember, there are two separate Cases to be heard, so do not leave after the first Case is finished.
Please remember that the Meeting is an official City of Johns Creek Meeting. Rezoning Case Public Hearings are considered as legal proceedings by the City. Therefore, there are to be no signs, raised voices or protesting for or against the Rezoning Cases.
